I'm a 60+ librarian and fangirl, into genre fiction and media, and more recently anime and manga. I also collect certain kinds of china & glassware; Gene Autry memorabilia; Italian metal figural toleware; and I have way too much fiber and yarn to support my spinning and knitting habit.

My favorite PC game is "The Sims" -- the original or Sims 2 --, but I play other sim games, god games and shooter games as well on my Falcon Northwest PC and my apple red Fragbook. My favorite movies are "The Producers" (the original, not the remake) and "Evil Dead II." My favorite fiction authors are Michaela August, Gladys Mitchell, Kinky Friedman, Tim Powers, Jim Blaylock, Barbara Pym and Jun'ichiro Tanizaki. My favorite non-fiction authors are Stephen Jay Gould, David Macaulay, Joseph Ellis, Carolyn Heilbrun, and Ruth Reichl. I'm not much into comics, but I have ever Hellboy comic and novel ever published. My favorite manga is "GetBackers" and my favorite anime is "Cowboy Bebop."

I am currently realizing a life-long ambition by having a small role in an indie slasher-horror movie filming in south-central Kentucky.
